Hello, I am Domian Maysa Waters, the creator of this website, and the creator/designer of the glorious, bold artwork and characters shown here. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and I've been creating ever since I could hold a crayon in my hand. Some artists I am inspired by are Vanessa Brantley-Newton, Dawud Anyabwile, Bruce W. Smith, Sharee Miller, and Frank Morrison. I am an alumna of University of the Arts (UArts) in Philly, and I've earned my BFA (Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts) in Illustration in 2023. Every day I continue to explore new medias to produce brilliant works. I hope to bring my creations to life in the future through books/graphic novels, or even toys. I also want to continue promoting positive representation and racial diversity, especially for my Black brothers and sisters.
